Ways teachers can use Microsoft Word
This posting will provide techniques or ideas for integrating Microsoft Word to improve efficiency as related to publications, administrative tasks, and instruction. Please read the postings provided by your peers before posting tips for using Word to benefit teachers and students.
Microsoft Word has premade templates that teachers can use to save time. There are calandars, letters and ever certificates that you can use for class.
ReplyDeleteI learned how to embody pictures in texts in a pleasant way, I learned how to change the orientation of specific pages within a document, and I learned how to make a watermark picture in the background. I will have my students use embodied pictures as visuals are a very important component to learning science and I will have students change the indentation of the pages for their reports (or make sure they are actually the indentation I specify instead of making them smaller).
ReplyDeleteIt is great to use word when you really know how to use it. You can create worksheets for students and show them in a projector or design newsletters for parents. It´s simple and fast.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I use Word in conjunction with my projector to create a group story. It is more efficient because I can type as quickly as the students are telling me their part of the story. Then I can save the story and if I want to, print it out and have a copy for each.
ReplyDeleteWe can use Microsoft Word to create shcedules, calendars, letters to parents. It is a very helpful tool for creating all types of documents.
ReplyDeleteTemplates are great when you want to create your class schedule. Go to templates, choose category and everything will be set up for you.
